Place your dog’s paw on a sheet of paper and mark the back of the rear paw pad and the tip of the longest claw. Measure this distance for the correct size. Weight suggestions are just a guide.
Many dogs have different size front and back paws. Often back paws are smaller than front paws. Not all dogs have front paws which are larger but it’s really important to check this as some dogs will need a smaller size on the rear paws.
Wearing the incorrect size can not only be uncomfortable for the dog but can cause wear and pressure in the wrong areas and cause damage to the boots.

This is because they can’t feel the floor and it throws off their coordination, they need time to re-coordinate themselves. It may even take getting them outside and on with the walk before they start to realize that they can in fact walk & run as usual.
After removing excess dirt, soak in warm water and dish soap for 15 minutes. Use a toothbrush to get off any tough stains. If stains persist, try covering stain with toothpaste or a paste of baking soda and water, let sit for 5 minutes, scrub using toothbrush and repeat the first step as needed.
