MANY USES OF THE CAN TOY:
Like us, dogs get bored and need stimulation. Fill the Can Toy with goodies and give your dogs a mental challenge to solve the puzzle. Freeze with treats inside to prolong use. The Can Toy can help ease separation anxiety by preoccupying your dogs while you slip out the door. It can also be used for Crate Training and to distract your dogs from unwanted behaviours like barking, digging, and destructive chewing.
Even when it’s not filled with treats it can provide hours of chewing fun. It can be a useful tool to prevent or redirect problem chewing behaviours (ie chewing on the furniture). While no dog toy is indestructible, this toy has been tooth tested and holds up to the vast majority of dogs. Always supervise dog’s play time and remove damaged toys.
Who says a retrieving toy has to be a round ball? The erratic bounce will give your dogs additional stimulation.
If your dog is a “speed eater” serve your dog’s meals inside this toy. It will slow down eating and keep your dog stimulated and entertained. You can fill the Can Toy with moist recipes and put them in the freezer overnight. Give frozen goodies to your dogs to stretch feeding time and create a challenge for your dogs. Serving frozen meals in a Can Toy is an especially welcome treat on a hot summer day, helping your dogs keep cool.

TREAT DISPENSING RECIPES – SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!
DOG TREATS & KIBBLE
The easiest thing to put in a Can Toy is dog treats, including over-sized biscuits. By jamming over-sized treats inside the Can Toy you create an extra challenge for your dogs. Kibble is another easy option to fill the Can Toy.
COTTAGE CHEESE & PUMPKIN
The recipe possibilities are endless! A great summer recipe is cottage cheese mixed with fruits. If your dog has an upset tummy, pumpkin pie filler is a good choice and will help soothe your dog’s digestion. These wet ingredients are great options to freeze inside the toy before giving to your dog.
Peanut Butter is a reliable stand by and a favorite as well! Smear peanut butter into the inside of the toy and let your dogs go to work. How do they get their tongues all the way down there? We don’t know but we’ve never seen a dog leave anything inside!
WET & RAW
Another option is wet/canned dog food and raw meat (consult your vet). These foods can be frozen inside the Can Toy creating an extra challenge for your dogs, slowing down their eating and keeping them engaged and entertained longer.
No dog toy is indestructible. Supervise dogs while playing with toy. Inspect toy frequently. Remove damaged toys. Replace worn or damaged toys. This product is not intended to be eaten or swallowed.
