How to use:
Simply scatter and hide dry food or some yummy dry treats throughout the snuffle mat. As the first step, your pet has to understand that the sniffle mat is a guarantee for a tasty surprise. First distribute a few treats on the carpet whilst your pet watches and then let your pet eat them (repeat a few times).
Then have your dog or cat watch while you prepare the mat. Let them see you place treats between the layers of the material so that they are still visible. Your pet should enjoy snuffling through the mat to locate and eat the treat.
Once your pet is familiar with, and most importantly enjoying the concept of the mat, you can start to increase the difficulty by hiding the food or treats deeper in the mat.
Note: Please check the product regularly for any damage, and replace whenever it becomes damaged or defective to avoid any harm coming to your pet. Please discard damaged products and do not let your dog attempt to swallow any pieces.
