Ruffwear Swamp Cooler – Dog Cooling Coat

The Ruffwear Cooling Coat – Swamp Cooler provides protection from the sun and cooling through evaporation.

In warm climates, dogs typically stay cool by seeking shade during the heat of the day and moving around in cooler temperatures. The Swamp Cooler allows dogs to perform in hot climates.

Just soak the dog coat in cool water, wring out the excess and place on your dog.   The Swamp Cooler will keep your dog cool for several hours – depending on how hot it is and the humidity.   It is easy to renew the evaporative cooling with water at any time. The light-coloured fabric reflects solar radiation, while evaporative cooling pulls heat from the dog.

The integrated leash portal allows leash attachment when the Swamp Cooler is worn over the Ruffwear Front Range (or Web Master) Harness.

UPF 50+ COVERAGE: Vest style provides good coverage for maximum shade with side release buckles for easy on/off.

Washing Instructions

Secure fasteners and wash in cold water with the gentle cycle and mild detergent. Hang dry only. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean.
